It's time to say "Hello" to Mopsy's "lil' brudder"!!!
We finally found a pooch "dog" enough to hang with Mopsy! Introducing Cooper, who is a husky and collie mix. (at least that is our best guess) We rescued him from the humane society and he he has assimilated into the family seamessly. Frontrunners for his name were Hudson, Copper, Archer, and Coda. Personally I preferred Hondo, but Jenn ultimately chose Cooper... I let it slide since I was the one that came up with Mopsy.
I already feel that Cooper will be a victim of the second child syndrome where he doesn't get as many puppy photos as Mopsy did. Well, I guess that is okay since this is Mopsy's blog anyway. :)

The Three "M"igos
My Brother took this photo of Mopsy and her friends. The cast of characters from left to right are: Mochi, Maximus, and Mopsy. Mochi is a Maltese owned by our friend Michelle. Maximus is my family's ghetto thug Jack Russell (he claims the "Bloods", hence, the red bandana). And of course Mopsy in her favorite shirt.
Props to my brother for being able to keep these three still long enough to take a picture!  Posted by Picasa

MOPSY'S FIRST BIRTHDAY BASH!!!

Mopsy turned the big "ONE" on October 1st. To commemorate, we sent out snazzy invites fit to put most wedding invitations to shame and threw a party for Mopsy and her friends. The birthday bash extravanganza was at the Cosmo Dog Park in Gilbert, AZ, which features K-9 obstacles and a lake for doggie paddling. Being the spoiled puppy that she is, Mopsy requested that her birthday guests had burgers, hot dogs, lemonade, a birthday cake from Three Dog Bakery, pup-peroni, games, and a pinata full of goodies for dogs, kids, and also adults. Labs, mutts, bulldogs, bichons, yorkies, a cavalier king charles, a labradoodle, and even a chinese guy all helped Mopsy celebrate and eat cake.
If you didn't get an invite this year, do not fret! Just drop us a line and we'll be sure to remember you come next October 1st! Hooray! Posted by Picasa
